Flights operate using Porter’s 78-seat De Havilland Dash 8-400 aircraft, which have no middle seats. Passengers receive complimentary wine, beer and premium snacks.
The airline is also upgrading all 29 aircraft in its Dash 8-400 fleet with new TiSeat 2V Lite seats from Expliseat. Other improvements include refreshed tray tables, device holders, LED mood lighting, reading lights and carpeting. The first upgraded aircraft are already flying, with the remaining upgrades planned for this fall.
Porter first began flying to Chicago from Billy Bishop in 2008, when the city became its second U.S. destination from the downtown Toronto airport.
