Red Chili by Canada Herb recalled due to Salmonella

All Canada Herb brand Red Chili packages sold up to and including January 20, 2019 is recalled due to possible Salmonella contamination.

imageThe product may have also been sold in bulk or in smaller packages with or without a label and may not bear the brand or product name.

 

Consumers who are unsure if they have purchased the affected product are advised to contact their retailer.

Health Canada advises that food contaminated with Salmonella may not look or smell spoiled but can still make you sick. You may may experience short-term symptoms such as fever, headache, vomiting, nausea, abdominal cramps and diarrhea.

Young children, pregnant women, the elderly and people with weakened immune systems may contract serious and sometimes deadly infections.
