What started as four Toronto concerts has now grown into an 11-show residency for the Backstreet Boys, following strong demand for tickets to their 2027 Canadian homecoming.
The group has added seven performances to its Into the Millennium – Homecoming: Live in Canada series at Rogers Centre, extending the concerts from February into March.
The latest additions are March 5 and 6, 2027, announced as tickets for the previously scheduled February performances went on sale to the general public on Friday, October 9.
The expansion means fans now have 11 opportunities to see the Backstreet Boys in Toronto, rather than the four originally announced on October 2.
In the social media post announcing Into the Millennium – Homecoming: Live in Canada concerts, the Backstreet Boys said, “We are excited to announce that Rogers is bringing us back to Toronto for our first-ever Canadian residency.”
Further additions followed on October 7, with February 26, 27 and 28 joining the schedule.
The final two announced dates extend the residency into March.
The complete 2027 Toronto concert schedule is:
- February 12, Friday
- February 13, Saturday
- February 14, Sunday
- February 19, Friday
- February 20, Saturday
- February 21, Sunday
- February 26, Friday
- February 27, Saturday
- February 28, Sunday
- March 5, Friday
- March 6, Saturday
All 11 concerts are scheduled for 8 p.m. at Rogers Centre in Toronto.
The concerts will revisit the band’s Millennium era, including “I Want It That Way” and “Everybody (Backstreet’s Back).” Fans can also expect less frequently performed songs such as “It’s Gotta Be You” and “The Perfect Fan.”
For the band, calling the Toronto run a “Homecoming” has a particular meaning. Canada was one of the first places where the Backstreet Boys found major success in North America.
The additional performances follow strong interest during the presales that began October 5.
The Toronto engagement is particularly significant because these are the band’s only announced North American stadium concerts for 2027.
The residency celebrates the group’s Millennium era, with songs including “I Want It That Way,” “Everybody (Backstreet’s Back),” “It’s Gotta Be You” and “The Perfect Fan.”
Canada also has a special place in the band’s history, having been one of the first North American markets where the group found major commercial success.
There will be another attraction for longtime fans while the band is in Toronto. The Backstreet Boys YYZ Terminal – Toronto will be an immersive pop-up inspired by the airport-themed cover of Millennium, featuring merchandise, photo opportunities and fan events.
The Toronto dates follow the group’s Into the Millennium Sphere shows in Las Vegas and a 10-show stadium residency in Düsseldorf, Germany.
More than three decades into their career, the Backstreet Boys have recorded worldwide sales exceeding 130 million.
