1. Brahms Requiem

Brahms’s A German Requiem is a deeply human reflection on love, loss, and the solace offered to those who grieve. Led by Artistic Director Jean-Sébastien Vallée, the Toronto Mendelssohn Choir brings their signature “mix of subtlety, power, and precision” (Ludwig van Toronto) to this masterpiece’s soaring choral lines and rich orchestration. 2. A Concert of Remembrance

4. Remembrance Race

ALL proceeds go to the Royal Canadian Legion. The course is an out-and-back race that will begin at the Humber Bay Park East parking lot, by the Mimico Creek bridge, and will pass through the iconic Humber Bay Bridge, turning around at the Gzowski Monument and finishing at the same location as the start.

7. RCAF Foundation Remembrance Day

Experience a morning of reflection featuring readings, wreath laying, a two-minute silence, and a fly-past by Royal Canadian Air Force aircraft. Students will share poems and letters to Canada’s military, honouring the legacy of service in their own words. With remarks from Major-General Denis O’Reilly, Jeremy Diamond, and John Monahan, alongside members of the Royal Canadian Air Cadets, 16 Wing RCAF, and performances by Toronto Scottish Piper, and a Queen’s Own Rifles bugler.  Details

Join the City of Oshawa, Royal Canadian Legion Branch 43 and Royal Canadian Branch 637 for the annual parade & ceremony.

Parade Route:

10:25 a.m.: The parade will leave the Ontario Regiment Armouries at Richmond St. and Simcoe. St. N. continuing along Richmond St. to Centre St. S., then proceeding south on Centre St. S. to John St., then proceeding east on John St. to Simcoe St. S., pausing between John St. and Metcalfe St. for the ceremony.
11:30 a.m., the parade will travel north on Simcoe St. S. to Richmond St., returning to The Ontario Regiment Armouries.
