I. Christmas Tree Farms in Durham Region

 

 

1. Prestonvale Tree Farms

Prestonvale Tree Farms offers a large selection of harvest your own Christmas trees, pre-harvested Christmas trees, evergreen landscape trees retail and wholesale trees at their Courtice Farm location. The farm has a large selection of quality Fraser Fir, Balsam Fir, Spruce and Pine trees ready to be cut on 60+ acres. Saws are provided.

November 29 to December 24, 2025

Monday to Friday – 9:00am to 5:00pm
Saturday and Sunday – 8:00am to 5:00pm

2. Spademan Tree Farm

Spademan Christmas Tree Farm offers cut-your-own trees or choose from their pre-cut. The tree farms grow a variety of species. Enjoy searching for your perfect tree in fields of spruce, white pine, balsam, and Fraser fir. The trees at the farm are naturally grown without the use of pesticides or any other chemicals. They provide hand saws, or you are welcome to bring your own.

November 29 onwards

Wednesday: 11:00am – 4:30pm
Thursday: 11:00am – 4:30pm
Friday: 11:00am – 4:30pm
Saturday: 9:00am – 4:30pm

Cost:

Tree prices range from $75-$100 – HST included

All “cut your own” trees ANY size are $75.

6-8 foot pre-cut BALSAM and FRASER FIR are $85.
8-1/2 foot and higher pre-cut BALSAM and FRASER FIR are $100.

3. Cormack’s Tree Farm

Cormack’s Christmas Tree Farm is a third-generation farm and produces some of the best-shaped organic trees in all of Ontario. The farm has over ten fields of pine, fir, and spruce trees or you can select one of their pre-cuts from the barn!

II. Christmas Tree Farms in Halton Region

 

 

1. Elliott Tree Farm

Elliot Tree Farm is a circa 1890 family Christmas tree farm specializing in fresh cut Fir and Blue Spruce Christmas trees, cut your own Spruce and Pine Christmas trees and farm fresh hand-made wreaths. They offers a selection of planters, greens, tree stands, farm fresh pure maple syrup and gifts from their local partners. This includes: a food truck, hot chocolate bar, bonfire, and meet the horses.

2. Cricket Creek Farm

Cricket Creek Farm offers cut-your-own and pre-cut trees ranging from six feet to twelve feet in height, with currently thousands of Eastern White Spruce and Colorado Blue Spruce and a few Fraser Fir trees reaching marketable height.

III. Christmas Tree Farms in the Hamilton Region

1. Mark’s Christmas Trees

Mark’s Christmas Trees have greens of all sizes in cedar, white pine, scotch pine, spruce, balsam fir for indoor and outdoor planters, swags, wreaths, door garlands, and many more.

from 10 am-4 pm

2. Merry Farms

Merry Farm is a 176-acre farm that offers beautiful “cut your own” or “pre-cut” trees of both Balsam Fir and Fraser Fir.

4. Rinas Christmas Trees

Rinas Christmas Tree allows customers to choose and cut their own trees from a selection of Spruce, Fir, and Pine. The varieties available include Serbian Spruce, White Spruce, Concolor Fir, White Pine, and Scotch Pine.

Open daily from November 29 until December 22, 2025, 9 a.m. to 5 a.m.

5. Watson Family Farm

This year, Watson Family Farm is only offering the precut Christmas trees: Frazer fir, concolor, balsam fir, serbian sprue, blue spruce and beautiful scotch pine trees.

IV. Christmas Tree Farms in the York Region

 

1. Vivian Plantation

At this plantation, visitors can choose either a preharvested tree or cut their own, while enjoying a walk through forested trails amidst the tranquillity of nature. Both options offer a fresh, delightfully scented tree, contributing to an environmentally friendly and natural Christmas atmosphere at home. The experience is enhanced with complimentary hot mulled apple cider, hot chocolate, and bonfires for marshmallow roasting, available from the “shack.” This makes for a perfect family Christmas outing, complete with picnic tables for those who wish to enjoy a family picnic. Additionally, a photo station is available for visitors to capture memories of their visit.

2. MacPherson’s Tree Farm

MacPherson’s Tree Farm offer engaging activities like wagon rides and scavenger hunts for children, with a prize per tree purchase, along with free hot chocolate.

Staff provide free baling and rope for easy transport. Purchase hot dogs, sausages, and delicious baked goods, with all proceeds supporting SickKids, making your visit fun, convenient, and charitable for the whole family to enjoy together. The farm boasts an excellent selection of pre-cut trees, including premium Cook & Fraser Firs ranging from 6 to 10 feet tall. They also have premium pre-cuts available.

Get beautiful, professionally groomed Christmas trees at Crone’s Christmas Tree Farm. They also offer sleigh rides.

Middleton’s Christmas Tree Farm, a serene family-run farm established in 1985, offers a selection of beautifully pruned Christmas trees including Scotch Pine, Balsam Fir, and Canaan Fir. The farm provides ample parking for visitors and offers free baling services for trees.

5. Tufford Family Tree Farm

The farm offers Scotch Pine, White Pine, White Spruce, Norway Spruce, and Balsam Fir trees, and is open daily, with a safe tobogganing hill for the kids.
