Remembrance Service 2019

Gather at the cairn and monument in Montgomery Park to honour our roots and those who sacrificed for us today. There will be a sing-along of wartime songs during the Sunday service. On Monday, a community time follows the service. You can also enjoy warm drinks, homemade cookies and see photos of original Montgomery Place veterans. Details

For Remembrance

Music and words befitting Remembrance Day. For Remembrance is the name of a piece by British composer Paul Drayton. Following tradition, there will be music and readings appropriate to the day and to honour all those who have gone before. Other pieces on the concert are Three Songs from Whitman by David Kaplan, Begrabnisgesang by Johannes Brahms, and Amazing Grace by Erik Ešenvalds. Details
