The Rounds Ranch in Elmvale offers a fun-filled western experience with many exciting events for the whole family to enjoy this summer.
The family-owned ranch was bought in December 2001, by Ken and Geri Rounds. When it was purchased, it only had a house, an old barn and a small shop, but over the years the owners transformed it into a fun adventure farm for the whole family, with over 25 activities for all ages. The Rounds wanted to educate people about life on a farm by sharing the farm experience with others in a fun way.
These 25 thrilling activities include a petting zoo, a corn maze, zip lines, pony rides, water activities, a playground and so many other enjoyable activities. Each more exciting than the other, so you’ll never run out of things to do.
This summer you can try activities including the Lickety Split Slides, Bean Bin, 250’ Sack Shoot’n Scoot, Tumbleweed Turnabout and The Mercantile.
The Slip ’n’ Slide is a wild ride. This bright green water slide is a great place to cool off after a long day on the Ranch. You will experience this thrilling adventure on a large floatie that you can even spin on as you go down.
If you are looking for an outdoor summer camp, book their Day Camp Experience called Jr. Ranch Hand Camp and L’il Ranch Hand Camp. Here your kids can make new friends, spend time with the animals and learn all about them. The children can also adopt an animal for a week while at the camp, go hiking through the forest, participate in the Cowboy Olympics and so much more!
During late summer you can enjoy everything Rounds Ranch has to offer PLUS 8 acres with 32 stunning varieties of Sunflowers for you to enjoy. Walk among fiery orange starbursts, dark crimson reds, lemon yellows, and “Teddy Bear” puff-ball-shaped flowers.
Fall brings all sorts of harvest activities including getting lost in the dark at the 4-acre cornfield maze, a ride to the pumpkin patch and an Easter Egg Hunt in late summer.
