Smoke’s Poutinerie, known for its signature combination of fries, cheese curds, and gravy, has opened its first location in Edmonton.
The establishment, located at 8111 104 Street NW in Edmonton’s vibrant Old Strathcona neighbourhood near Whyte Avenue, serves a signature combination of fries, cheese curds, and gravy to the city.
The decor features the brand’s trademark lumberjack plaid, complementing a menu that includes a variety of poutine dishes such as Chicken Bacon Ranch, Korean BBQ, and Nacho Grande, alongside sandwiches and side dishes.
Smoke’s Poutinerie sources ingredients from Canadian suppliers, including potatoes from its Maritime farms, cheese curds, and signature gravy from Quebec.
Franchisee Gurinder Garcha expressed excitement about the launch, emphasizing plans for additional locations across Alberta. “We are thrilled to bring the amazing food and entertainment of Smoke’s Poutinerie to Edmonton. This is just the beginning,” he said.
Founded in 2009 by Ryan Smolkin, Smoke’s Poutinerie is a pioneer in quick-serve poutine, offering an expansive menu that reinvents the classic Canadian dish.
