Opening October 22, the attraction takes you along a one-mile outdoor route where light, projections, music and sound reshape the landscape after dark.

Created by Moment Factory and presented with Fever, the Vancouver edition is the 25th experience in the Lumina Enchanted Night Walk series, following previous editions in the United States, Australia and Turkey.

Enjoy a self-guided walk lasting roughly 45 to 60 minutes, with nine themed zones unfolding along the route.

The story follows stars descending to Earth, releasing astral energy before eventually returning to the night sky.

Along the way, you will encounter large-scale light installations, projections, 360-degree effects, scenography and an original cosmic soundtrack.

More than two million people have attended U.S. editions in cities including New York, Los Angeles, Dallas, Seattle and Philadelphia. Per the organisers, the experience invites you to discover “the wonder of visiting stars.”

The event is designed to operate rain or shine through most wet-weather conditions. If weather forces a cancellation, guests will be notified by email. Tickets may only be rescheduled when an event is cancelled because of inclement weather.

Each section of the walk presents a different part of the celestial story. You can move through illuminated landscapes, see stars appearing to fall from 20 feet above and step into a field filled with thousands of pixel lights.

Astra Lumina will take place at the Stanley Park Railway, 690 Pipeline Road. The experience is entirely outdoors and follows varying terrain through the surrounding landscape, so the setting becomes part of the show rather than simply a backdrop.

Food & drink:

You can buy snacks and beverages during your visit, although outside food and drinks are not permitted.

Tickets and early access:

Presale begins September 15, followed by general timed-entry ticket sales on September 16. Advance booking is recommended, and visitors can join the waitlist through Fever.
