They have planned events, feature experiences, and different ways to tour the grounds. Fort Whoop-Up and The Galt Museum are in a scenic location on the Oldman River where there are trails leading in all directions. It is a popular walking, jogging, picnicking, and photo spot, with the iconic trestle bridge in the background.

You can visit the area any time of year, but in the summer months, Fort-Whoop Up is officially open to visitors. They’ve planned a lot for the summer, too, with extended tours to help you experience life and culture in the 1800s, special plans for Heritage Day, and unique ways to explore this historic area.
