Sweat, Plunge and Party at Three-Day Toronto Sauna Festival This October

Toronto Sauna Festival is coming back to Evergreen Brick Works this October and this time you will have three days to explore it.

After its sold-out 2025 debut drew 1,500 people, organizer Unbounded is expanding the festival to more than triple its original space from October 2 to 4.

What to See & Do at Toronto Sauna Festival

Expect 20+ saunas, cold plunges, international sauna rituals, movement sessions, music, food and recovery experiences spread across the weekend.

You do not have to spend your entire visit sitting in a sauna. The festival is built so you can move between heat, cold and other activities at your own pace.

Sauna masters from Germany, Poland, Romania and Estonia will join Canadian practitioners, while the wider program includes yoga, Pilates, breathwork, sound sessions, meditation, live music and DJs.

You can also explore skin and herbal treatments, food, tea, non-alcoholic drinks and interactive installations.

Start With the Immersive Opening Night

Friday, October 2 runs from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. and takes a more intimate approach. You can move through a curated mix of sauna rituals, guided cold immersion, sound, art, food and recovery spaces. Opening-night tickets are $109.99.

Try Sauna Traditions From Around the World

The 20+ saunas will host several styles of ritual throughout the festival. That includes Aufguss, a performative sauna experience, alongside herbal infusions, scrubs and Banya-inspired rituals.

Not every activity will appear in every session, so your experience may look a little different depending on when you attend.

Take the Plunge

Once you have had enough heat, you can head for the cold. Both guided and free-flow cold plunges will run during the weekend, letting you choose between a structured experience or going at your own pace.

Move, Listen or Simply Slow Down

You can swap the sauna bench for yoga, Pilates, breathwork or sound sessions. There will also be meditation areas, recovery and longevity experiences, music and DJs.

As Unbounded founder Nick put it, last year showed that visitors wanted “something much bigger than simply going to a sauna.”

Pick the Session That Fits Your Mood

Saturday sessions run from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday offers 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
