On Saturday, June 14, 2025, riders across the city can take advantage of unlimited 90-minute trips at no cost by using the Free Day Pass available through the Bike Share Toronto app.
The initiative, known as Bike For Free Day, marks the beginning of the summer cycling season and reflects the ongoing collaboration between the Toronto Parking Authority (TPA) and Tangerine. Both classic pedal bikes and e-bikes are included in the promotion. The free access period lasts 24 hours from the time the pass is activated.
According to Bike Share Toronto, nearly seven million trips were logged in 2024, with notable growth in both e-bike usage and new memberships. E-bike rides increased by 144%, while annual memberships rose 14%. Over 165,000 new users joined the program last year alone.
Interested participants can access the promotion by downloading the app, selecting the Free Day Pass, and visiting a nearby docking station.
