Banff 
Yelp has unveiled its ninth annual list of Canada’s Top 100 Places to Eat in 2024, a compilation based on community recommendations.

Topping the list is Chen Chen’s Nashville Hot Chicken in Toronto, celebrated for its Nashville hot chicken with a unique Asian twist, especially its Szechuan spicy chicken sandwich.
The list features a diverse range of dining experiences, from family-friendly spots to high-end restaurants, catering to all kinds of food enthusiasts. Alongside new entries, several favorites have made a return, including Buvette Scott at number two, Grandma Loves You at four, and last year’s top pick, The Northern Cafe and Grill, now at 14th place.
Toronto leads with 20 restaurants, followed by Montreal with 14 and Vancouver with 11. Highlights from Toronto include New Orleans Seafood & Steakhouse, Zeal Burgers, and Momo Hut & Gardens.
This year, breakfast and brunch spots are particularly popular, with ten such establishments making the list, including The Diner House 29, Clementine, and L’Avenue, which has amassed over 1,000 reviews. The list also showcases a variety of cuisines, with Middle Eastern and Indian restaurants notably present.
Yelp’s data science team, along with community managers and a Trend Expert, used community submissions and their expertise to curate this diverse and unique list. In cases of multiple locations for a single business, only the highest-ranked location was included.
