Olivia, a name that has been echoed in the halls of Ontario’s nurseries for over a decade, maintained its enchanting hold as the leading choice for girls. For an astonishing 14 years, this name has been the preferred name for baby girls, echoing through the years like a timeless melody.

In the realm of boys’ names, Noah stood strong at the helm for the fourth consecutive year. This name, steeped in ancient tales and enduring strength, continued to capture the hearts of new parents. Close behind, Liam held its position as a popular choice, reminiscent of gallant knights and tales of bravery. Theodore, a name that conjures images of teddy bears and wise scholars, climbed two spots, adding a touch of vintage appeal to the list.

2022 marked a notable debut in the girls’ names, with Chloe tying with Isla.

The top ten was rounded out with names that read like a roster of beloved characters from a classic novel. Charlotte, Amelia, Emma, Sophia, Ava, Evelyn, Lily, and Mia completed the list for the girls. For the boys, the list comprised Oliver, Theodore, Jack, Benjamin, Lucas, William, Ethan, and Leo.

This innovative service ensures that the administrative aspects of welcoming a new life are as smooth and hassle-free as possible, allowing parents to focus on the joys of their new arrival.
