Canada’s 100 Best has released the 2022 list of 100 Best restaurants.

This year, the publication that serves as a guide to the country’s top dining destinations has added a new category, the Top 20 Best New Restaurants.
The restaurants are selected based on votes by a team of 100 judges and tastemakers from across Canada.
Concorde Entertainment Group’s Major Tom restaurant located in Calgary was awarded the Best New Restaurant. Culinary director, Garrett Martin said, “We said it was going to celebrate the classics, nothing out of the ordinary but with a vein of creativity that ran through everything,” Martin says. “When people are booking three months in advance, there’s a responsibility to knock it out of the park.”

Canada’s 100 Best Cover (CNW Group/CANADA”S 100 BEST)
The Best Farm to Table was awarded to Bika Farm located in Quebec’s Saint-Blaise-sur-Richelieu. Explaining the principle behind the restaurant’s offerings, Chef Fisun Ercan of Bika Farm says, “I can turn an egg into an omelette. But I can also boil it perfectly, with a little soft yolk, put some herbs on it, and there! That is the true taste of a fresh egg.”
Vancouver’s Published on Main which offers a three-hour, eleven-course menu was chosen as the Best Restaurant in Canada.
