100 per cent of proceeds from each $2 cookie (plus tax) will be distributed to local charities, community groups, and youth programs operated by the Foundation.

The program, introduced in 2023, has generated $20.5 million to date. Last year’s week-long effort raised $10.7 million, according to the company.

Tim Hortons president Axel Schwan said the campaign continues to depend on support from customers and franchise owners across the country. He noted that the initiative channels all funds to regional partners.

Caroline Barham, President of Tim Hortons Foundation Camps and a franchise owner, said contributions from the campaign help fund both on-site and in-school programming for underserved youth, with an emphasis on confidence-building and leadership development.

Holiday Smile Cookies are sold at locations nationwide, with each restaurant working with local beneficiaries. Customers can review the list of supported groups on the company’s website. Large orders are accepted through a downloadable pre-order form that must be submitted at least 24 hours before pickup.

During the campaign period, Nov. 17 at 12:00:01 a.m. to Nov. 23 at 11:59:59 p.m. ET, Holiday Smile Cookie purchases are excluded from the Tims Rewards points program. Points can still be earned on other menu items.

The fundraiser continues until Nov. 23 at participating restaurants across Canada.
