The commemorative “Moonbits” 10-pack will be available only in London, Ont., where Canadian Space Agency astronaut Jeremy Hansen grew up.

The box highlights why the mission matters. Artemis II will send a crew around the Moon, making it the first crewed lunar mission in more than 50 years, since the Apollo era. Hansen’s participation also puts Canada in rare company: the country will become just the second in the world to send an astronaut around the Moon.

The Moonbits packaging explains the Canadian connection directly on the box, pointing to Hansen’s London-area roots and his role in the mission. Distribution is limited to participating Tim Hortons locations across London, and only while supplies last.

The box will not be available immediately. Tim Hortons says it will be released once the Artemis II launch date is officially confirmed. At this stage, the earliest possible launch window is February 6.

“This is a historic occasion with a thrilling Canadian connection,” said Hope Bagozzi, Chief Marketing Officer for Tim Hortons, noting the pride tied to Canada’s involvement in the mission.
