Hockey card season is back at Tim Hortons, and this year collectors have some particularly elusive cards to look for.
The 2026-27 Tim Hortons NHL Hockey Cards are now available at participating restaurants across Canada. Produced by Upper Deck, the collection includes 234 cards, ranging from redesigned base cards to autographs, jersey relics and special inserts.
Among the biggest finds are autographed cards from Sidney Crosby and Nathan MacKinnon, plus a signed Timbits card featuring Seth Jarvis. NHL Signature Jersey Relics feature players including Nick Suzuki, while new insert series include Next Gen Phenoms and Powerhouse Pillars.
This year’s collection also brings Macklin Celebrini and Matthew Schaefer into the Tim Hortons card lineup for the first time. They join Crosby, MacKinnon and Brad Marchand in the campaign promoting the new set.
“Every fall, ripping open that first pack of hockey cards is as much a part of the season as the puck drop itself,” said Hope Bagozzi, Tim Hortons’ Chief Marketing Officer.
How much do the hockey cards cost?
A pack costs $1.50 with an eligible beverage purchase or $1.99 without a beverage, plus tax. Prices can vary by restaurant or region.
Collectors looking to keep the entire set together can buy a collectible binder for $19.99. New this year is a Zamboni-shaped hockey card holder, also priced at $19.99, with room for up to 200 cards.
What can you win?
Some packs will contain Golden Prize Cards tied to larger prizes. The list includes a trip for two to the 2027 Stanley Cup Final, a 2027 Hyundai KONA and a VIP experience for two to meet Sidney Crosby at a Pittsburgh Penguins game.
Other prizes range from a three-night Prince Edward Island stay and custom Bauer hockey sticks to NHLShop.ca, Sport Chek, Canadian Tire and Tim Hortons gift cards.
There is another reason collectors may want to meet in person. Participating Tim Hortons restaurants will hold Hockey Card Trade Nights on October 29 and November 5 from 6 to 8 p.m. The first 10 guests at each participating location on either night will receive an exclusive Trade Night card.
The Tims NHL Hockey Challenge also returns to the Tim Hortons app on September 29, with rewards for making player picks and maintaining a seven-day streak. Its season-end grand prize is a new Hyundai Santa Fe Hybrid.
