From September to early November, you can spend a crisp fall day, exploring orchards, picking apples, and making great memories with your loved ones. Gather up your family or some friends, and head out to one of the U-Picks listed below to have a fantastic time on a farm.
1. Everett Family Orchard
Have a great time with the family picking apples at one of the oldest farms in New Brunswick. This eighth-generation farm opened in 1792 with 6 acres of land and now grows 10 delectable varieties of apples. They also have pre-picked apples and veggies for sale on-site. If you enjoy gorgeous scenery, the farm has spectacular views of the famous Keswick Islands and the gorgeous Saint John River valley.

2. Charlotte’s Family Orchard
Spend a fun day picking your own apples at Charlotte’s Family Orchard in Gagetown, which has been open for 30+ years. If you don’t feel like picking your own apples or other fruit and vegetables, their farm market in the old Blacksmith’s Shop has pre-picked apples, plums, pears, and other fresh vegetables available that you can buy to take home.

3. Mackay Apple Orchard
When you visit the Mackay Apple Orchard, you can pick your own apples in their beautiful orchard. After you are finished picking, you can head over to Yip’s Cidery for a tour and tasting of their fantastic ciders that are produced on-site.

4. Hazen Cameron’s Family Apple Orchard
Enjoy a beautiful fall day with your friends, picking MacIntosh, Spartan, Cortland and other varieties at Hazen Cameron and Son Farm. They also have a roadside market where you can buy plums, pumpkins, pumpkins, jams, jellies, pickles, apple pies, and their famous apple cider.

5. Hall’s Orchard
Hall’s Orchard is a popular place just outside of Fredericton where you can take the family to pick your own apples. They have Cortlands, Spartans, Golden Russets, and MacIntosh, as well as a few other varieties available in small amounts. When you are finished picking for the day, you can buy pumpkins, squash, jams, jellies, and their famous pressed Cider.

6. River View Orchard
Head to the River View Orchard for a fun apple U-pick experience. When you are finished picking for the day, the fun continues with wagon rides, a duck pond, and a corn maze that you and your family can explore and enjoy.

7. Johnny Appleseed U-Pick Orchard
Go picking at one of the oldest apple orchards near Fredericton. Johnny Appleseed U-Pick Orchard has been delighting visitors since the 1950s. Spend some time picking apples, or drop by their farmstand to buy fresh pre-picked apples, cider, vegetables, pumpkins, and jellies.

8. Bostwick’s U-Pick Apples

9. Gilbert Farms
Gilbert Farms grows a variety of apples like Paula Reds and Dudley’s for you to pick. The resident cows are popular with visitors and from the orchards, there are spectacular views of the river.

10. Uris Williams & Sons Apple Orchard
Explore over 30 acres of apples orchards at Uris Williams & Sons. You can pick some apples or go on the orchard tour to learn more about the 10 varieties of apples that they have available. Be sure to stop by their store to pick up some fudge, jam, and honey to take home with you.

11. Verger Belliveau Orchard
Get ready for a fun farm day at the Verger Belliveau Orchard. Go apple picking, take the orchard tour, or explore the corn maze with your family and friends. The Market Cafe is a popular spot where you can get something delicious to eat and take a rest.

12. La Fleur Du Pommier
Pick from Yellow Transparent, Jersey Macs, Paula Reds, and many more varieties of apples at La Fleur du Pommier. They also make and sell fresh apple products like apple juice, apple jelly, cider, and other types of fruit like plums, raspberries and blueberries.

13. Verger Haut Tilley Road
Verger Haut Tilley Road is home to over 700 apple trees that grow 15 varieties of apples. There is so much more to this farm than just apples. They offer wagon and tractor rides, orchard tours, a corn maze, wine sampling, and much more.
