For the first time, the attraction near Golden will open during the colder months, introducing Trailglow on December 26, 2026. The new evening experience will feature illuminated walking trails, glowing canyon crossings, family-friendly activities and seasonal treats.
Experience Golden Skybridge After Dark
Golden Skybridge is home to Canada’s highest suspension bridges, suspended 426 feet above a canyon with sweeping views of the Columbia Valley and the Rocky and Purcell mountain ranges.
During the warmer months, visitors can explore forest trails and enjoy activities such as the Canyon Swing, Railrider Mountain Coaster, zipline, climbing wall and axe throwing.
Trailglow offers something different. You can follow illuminated pathways through the winter landscape and cross the canyon after dark, with the surrounding mountains providing a backdrop to the experience.
There will also be family-friendly activities and seasonal treats, so you can make an evening of your visit rather than simply crossing the bridges.
Make a Winter Day of It in Golden
If you’re visiting Golden for the weekend, there’s plenty to enjoy before Trailglow begins.
You can spend the day skiing or snowboarding at Kicking Horse Mountain Resort, explore cross-country skiing and snowshoeing trails at Dawn Mountain Nordic Centre, or try tubing and ice skating around Golden.
