Wendy’s is spicing things up their menu in Canada by adding two new menu items – the Egg BLT and a new Iced Coffee.
The Egg BLT is made with fresh Canadian grade A eggs, crispy Applewood smoked bacon, juicy tomatoes, and crunchy lettuce, and topped with creamy mayo on a butter croissant with over 120 flaky layers.
Hayley Kianoff, Manager of International Culinary Innovation, says they did a lot of research to create something fresh for breakfast that Canadians will love. The croissant is the unsung hero, providing the perfect buttery flavour and flaky layers.
Wendy’s fans can also enjoy their new Iced Coffee any time of the day, slow, steeped and blended with cane syrup and cream to be extra rich and super-smooth.
Wendy’s says they put a lot of effort into creating an Iced Coffee that would satisfy the Canadian palate. Canadians love their coffee with cream and sugar, and Wendy’s has delivered a smooth character and light chocolate flavour.
