The Western Fair returns to London from September 11 to 20, 2026, for its 149th edition, with 10 days of midway rides, live music, agricultural exhibits, animals, food vendors, competitions, and family entertainment.
Western Fair
The event will take place at Western Fair District, 845 Florence Street, and will include new midway attractions, a Mexican cultural celebration, motorsports events, and programming marking the Sports Centre’s 25th anniversary.
Entertainment and Shows
The 2026 fair will feature a mix of motorsports, family shows, roaming performers and sports programming. Several activities are scheduled throughout the 10-day event, with some included in general admission.
- Demolition Derby events are scheduled for September 11 at 7:30 p.m. and September 13 at 6:30 p.m., while a Figure 8 Derby will take place September 16 at 7 p.m. The Demolition Derby will take place at the Grandstand, sponsored by Jayden’s Mechanical, with different vehicle classes featured on each date.
- Demolition Derby, Sept. 11 at 7:30 p.m.: Compact Light Build, Full-Sized Light Build and Truck Light Build.
- Demolition Derby, Sept. 13 at 6:30 p.m.: Bonestock Unibody, Bonestock Truck and Power Wheels Feature.
- Monster Madness is scheduled for September 12, 19 and 20.
- The FMX World Tour will take place on September 17 and 18 at 7 p.m., with additional FMX showcases planned during the fair.
View this post on Instagram - STIHL TIMBERSPORTS competitions will be held from September 11 to 13. Competitors in men’s, women’s and rookie divisions will take part in events including Springboard Chop, Underhand Chop, Stock Saw, Standing Block Chop, Single Buck and Hot Saw.
- Dotsy The Clown will offer face painting for fairgoers and will also appear during Day of Dreams, a sensory-friendly fair experience for children with special needs, sponsored by Westland Insurance.
- The Carousel Stage, sponsored by TOMCO, will host daily competitions and live performances. Fairgoers can participate in activities including apple peeling, sock sorting and other light-hearted contests.
- DooDoo will appear as a roaming performer from Monday to Friday. On Saturdays and Sundays, stage shows are scheduled for 1:30 p.m. and 5 p.m. at the Family Theatre, sponsored by TD.
- Family entertainment includes the Canine Circus, Circus Surreal, Aces Flying Pig Races, and the Grand Illusion Show featuring Aaron Matthews.
- Roaming performers will include The Bathtub Singer and Bandaloni the One Man Band, with performances scheduled throughout the fair.
View this post on Instagram - The Sports Centre will celebrate its 25th anniversary with hockey games, skating programs and special events. An opening ceremony will be held September 11 at 4:30 p.m., followed by a commemorative hockey game at 6 p.m. featuring local first responders and medical professionals.
- The London Nationals will play their home opener September 12 at 2 p.m., while public skating and a skate-a-thon supporting Children’s Health Foundation will take place during opening weekend.
- Team Canada Para Hockey players James Dunn, Tyler McGregor and Kevin Sorley will meet fairgoers on Sept. 13 from 10 a.m. to noon in the Sports Centre Lobby.

- On September 20 at 2 p.m., NHL alumni will face the London Law Enforcement All-Stars in a game supporting the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Ontario.
Music Lineup
Live music will run throughout all 10 days at the Bud Light Music Garden. The program includes Canadian rock, country performers, tribute acts, and a full day of Latin and Mexican music.

- The Strumbellas will perform on September 11 at 9:30 p.m.
- On September 12, The Joel Dupuis Band will perform at 7:30 p.m., followed by Wide Mouth Mason at 9 p.m.
- Texas King is scheduled for September 13 at 9 p.m.
- The September 14 lineup includes Karen Emeny at 4:30 p.m., Jason Mercer at 6 p.m., a Chappell Roan tribute at 7:30 p.m., and Taylor’s Story: The Unofficial Tribute at 8:15 p.m.
- On September 15, My Artiface will perform at 4 p.m., ToNi Blu at 6 p.m., and The OverKillers at 9 p.m.
- The September 16 program includes Leanne Mayer Band at 4 p.m., Kaleb Hikele at 6 p.m., POINTLESS: The Songs of Bill Priddle at 7:30 p.m., and Chalk Circle at 9:15 p.m.
- On September 17, Karen Emeny will perform at 4:30 p.m., Errol Blackwood & Injah at 6 p.m., and The Yacht Rock Show at 8:30 p.m.
- The September 18 lineup includes Tyler DeLargie at 4:30 p.m., Fool Hearts at 6:30 p.m., and Wing Night The Band at 8:30 p.m.
- September 19 will feature La Cantina, a one-day celebration of Mexican music and culture running from noon to 10:30 p.m. Performers include Ana Mexico Latin Power Band, Latin Passion Dance Academy, Antonio Alas Mariachi, and Mariachi Los Gallos. Los Grandes Del Norte, a Mexico-based Norteño band, will headline La Cantina. The group is known for a traditional Norteño sound built around accordion and bajo sexto.
- The September 20 lineup includes Tyler DeLargie at noon, Ness at 1:15 p.m., Tyler Lorette at 4 p.m., Carson Janik at 5:30 p.m. and 7 p.m., and Sully Burrows at 8:30 p.m.
Midway and Exhibits
Rides, games, livestock displays and creative competitions will form a major part of the fair. New attractions will be added alongside longstanding agricultural and community exhibits.
- The Western Fair will feature midway rides and games for both children and adults, including Kiddyland attractions and higher-thrill rides. Two new rides, Super Miami and Downdraft, will make their London debut in 2026. Super Miami reaches about 55 feet, while Downdraft is classified as a high-thrill attraction.
- Agricultural programming will include livestock displays and educational activities featuring cattle, horses, goats, llamas, alpacas, rabbits, chickens, pigs, water buffalo and other animals. New animal-related programming includes micro-mini Highland cattle, free pony rides, goat yoga and the Feel the Farm sensory activity.
- The fair will also feature Creative Arts competitions in photography, baking, fibre arts, quilting and horticulture. New competition categories for 2026 include largest potato, peach pie, youth drawing, decorated pet rocks, nature photography and Marshmallow Monster Pops.
- Heritage Hall will feature eight regional heritage organizations, while a new Sports Expo will involve KidSport and the London Sports Council.
- The fair will also recognize the 100th anniversary of the Royal Canadian Legion through special exhibits.
Food and Vendors
Food remains a central part of the Western Fair, with dozens of vendors offering both traditional midway fare and a wider range of cuisines. Commercial exhibitors and specialty vendors will also be located throughout the grounds.
- More than 40 food vendors are expected to operate at the fair. Food choices will include corn dogs, poutine, fried cheese curds, shawarma, birria tacos, baked goods, and desserts. La Cantina on September 19 will include Mexican food alongside music and cultural programming.
- Selected vendors will offer $6 food items before 6 p.m. The J-AAR Expo Centre concession will offer a four-items-for-$40 food option.

Admission and Hours
The Western Fair runs from Friday, September 11 to Sunday, September 20, 2026, at Western Fair District, 845 Florence Street in London.
- Monday to Friday: 3 p.m. to 10 p.m.
- Saturday and Sunday: 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
On the final Sunday, September 20, buildings will close at 9 p.m. The midway may remain open beyond 10 p.m. depending on ridership.
General admission for visitors aged 11 to 64 is $15 in advance and $20 at the gate, plus applicable fees. Children aged 10 and younger and adults aged 65 and older receive free admission.

The advance SuperPass costs $50 and includes admission and unlimited rides for one day. At the gate, admission plus a Ride-All-Day pass costs a combined $70. A Front of the Line pass costs $20 in advance and $25 at the gate and must be used with a SuperPass.
Special Rates and Offers
- September 11: Free admission from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. during Community Hours.
- September 14: 75 midway ride tickets for $30.
- September 15 and 16: Western University students can get $12 admission and a $35 Ride-All-Day pass with a valid student ID. A free shuttle to and from campus is also available.
- September 15: Fanshawe College students can get $12 admission and a $35 Ride-All-Day pass with a valid student ID.
- September 16: $2 off gate admission with a non-perishable food donation.
- September 20: $12 admission and $35 Ride-All-Day passes at the gate.
Free parking is available across from the fairgrounds, with accessible parking provided near the Sports Centre.
