North America’s longest-running air show will be celebrating its 77th edition in 2026, and the annual performance will feature the Royal Canadian Air Force aerobatic teams.
2026 will mark the final air show season for Canadian Forces Snowbirds’ CT-114 Tutor aircraft prior to the fleet’s retirement.
2026 Performers include:
- Canadian Forces Snowbirds: Nine jets carve astonishing precision patterns across the Canadian sky.
- Beechcraft Expeditor: A vintage RCAF workhorse returns with unmistakable wartime-era aviation character.

- Jack Aces: Three P-51 Mustangs sweep overhead in tight, dramatic formation flying.
- Mike Tryggvason: An Edge 540 unleashes blistering speed, rolls and extreme aerobatics.
- CP-140 Aurora: Canada’s maritime patrol aircraft showcases surveillance power above Lake Ontario.
- RCMP Black Hawk: A powerful police helicopter brings rapid-response muscle to the show.
- Supermarine Spitfire: An iconic wartime fighter returns with unmistakable speed and elegance.
- The Pink Jet: Bright aerobatics pair spectacle with an important breast cancer message.
- RCAF Heritage Flight: Four generations of Canadian military aircraft share one unforgettable formation.
- T-33: A classic jet trainer delivers sleek, old-school aerobatic thrills overhead.
- CF-18: Canada’s frontline fighter thunders through a fast, high-energy aerial demonstration.

Where Can You Watch the Show:
The Canadian International Air Show runs for three days, and each day will be fun, breathtaking, and expertly choreographed.
Several designated areas will be available to watch the air show.

There is an exclusive ticketed area at Marilyn Bell Park (1095 Lake Shore Blvd. West) directly in front of the Liberty Grand Entertainment Complex, from where you can enjoy a live narration of the show.
Food trucks and a “Refuelling Station Bar” will be located in the ticketed area to purchase drinks and food. Premier ticket holders (Flight Deck tickets) can enjoy an open bar with wine, beer, pop and water and a lunch buffet featuring meat, vegetarian and vegan options, sides, salads, and tasty desserts.
Special Experiences:
Skydeck Cruise: Watch the Toronto Airshow from Lake Ontario aboard the private yacht Yankee Lady on Saturday, Sept. 5. Boarding runs from 10 to 10:30 a.m. at 539 Queens Quay West. The $278.99 package includes a gourmet boxed lunch and water, with extra food and drinks available onboard. Guests must be 12 or older.
Toronto Air Show Boat Party: Take in the Air Show from the River Gambler during a lively three-hour cruise from 176 Cherry St. on Saturday, Sept. 5, from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Expect skyline views, live DJs, a licensed bar, food for purchase and an open-air party atmosphere. Tickets range from $21.15 to $71.06. This event is 19+.
The Sky Lounge Experience: Hotel X Toronto brings back its Sky Lounge Experience for Sept. 5 and 6 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at High Park Terrace. The Snowbirds Farewell Edition pairs airshow views over Lake Ontario with music, cocktails and food. Ticket packages range from lunch access to VIP seating and premium perks, starting at CA$168.38. All ages are welcome.
Watch For Free:
The free STEM area returns this year, featuring full-size aircraft on display, aerospace exhibits, and more. Between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. on all three days, you can discover interactive displays, meet food vendors and find inspiration for aerospace careers.
You can also see the show from the CNE grounds near the waterfront. If you want a glimpse of aerobatics for free, watch from Lakeshore Boulevard along the public parks on the waterfront from the Humber Bay Bridge to Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport or Toronto Islands.
When are the shows:
The airshow runs from 12:00 p.m. to 3:40 p.m. daily from Septmebr 5 to 7. The practice day will be on Friday, September 4th during the same times.
The exact schedule will be announced daily and is subject to change due to weather and maintenance.
The air show zone opens to ticket holders each day of the show from 10:00 a.m. to 3:40 p.m. A pre-show Water Display will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 11:59 a.m.

This is extremely disappointing that the SNOWBIRDS will not make an appearance….this is what we all look forward to…..not even bothering to go!!!!
