The Brawley Woods Haunted Halloween Walk is set to return this Thanksgiving Weekend, bringing one of Ontario’s most elaborate Halloween experiences back to Whitby.
The event, known for its cinematic production quality and immersive horror atmosphere, will run on select nights from October 10 to November 1, 2025.
Billed as one of Ontario’s top-rated haunted attractions, the Brawley Woods walk features 24 movie-like scenes, more than 30 live actors, and 13-foot-tall animatronics designed to deliver a realistic horror experience. Organizers describe the event as a “haunted movie production attraction” with high-quality props, sound effects, and air-powered animatronics that surround visitors throughout the 30-minute forest trail.
The event is not recommended for children under 12, with scenes described as graphic and intense. All minors must be accompanied by an adult. Due to uneven terrain and the nature of the setup, the walk is not accessible for wheelchairs or mobility scooters. Organizers also advise that the experience may not be suitable for people with medical conditions such as heart issues, asthma, epilepsy, or sensitivity to strobe or fog effects.
The Halloween attraction will be open Fridays and Saturdays from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m., and Sundays until 10 p.m. Free parking and outhouses will be available onsite. Tickets can be purchased online or at the venue, with general admission for the forest walk priced at $35 and VIP tickets at $60.
Visitors are encouraged to dress for outdoor weather and wear closed-toe footwear, as the event takes place entirely along a wooded path. Those who find the experience overwhelming can request assistance from staff to exit safely.
