Manitoba’s must-attend music festival, Winnipeg Folk Festival, has announced the lineup of incredible artists you’ll get to see on stage this summer.

2025 marks the 50th anniversary of the festival, with headliners including Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit, Lake Street Dive, and Gillian Welch & David Rawlings. Other major acts include Waxahatchee, Mavis Staples, The Cat Empire, Ani DiFranco, The Paper Kites, and Allison Russell.
Additionally, the festival will showcase performances from Begonia, Ruby Waters, Kevin Morby, Hurray for the Riff Raff, Beats Antique, and Blackie and the Rodeo Kings. Attendees can also enjoy sets from Noeline Hofmann, Basia Bulat, Leyla McCalla, The Budos Band, and Robyn Hitchcock, among many others.
Held at Birds Hill Provincial Park, this year’s festival will run from July 10 to 13, 2025.
The festival also welcomes great artisans from all over who bring hand-crafted wares and food vendors serving a variety of options to satiate your appetite.
There is also plenty to do for all those who plan to visit with kids. Winnipeg Folk Festival was awarded the ‘Best Family Program at a Festival’ by Canadian Music Week for its top-notch children’s performers and many activities for the whole family.
Tickets are now on sale starting at $73 for youth and $91 for adults for a day pass, and festival tickets with camping start at $282 for youth and seniors.
