Valley Gardens Community Centre Spray Pad; City of Winnipeg
As part of Manitoba’s Restoring Safe Services plan, the City of Winnipeg is reopening 18 spray pads from Wednesday, June 3rd. The public will be able to access these spray pads daily from 9:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., including statutory holidays, and can be used free of charge.
The City says spray pads are not sanitized, and that the residents who use them will be doing so at their own risk.
The spray pads open are:
- Central Park Spray Pad, 400 Cumberland Ave
- Fort Rouge Spray Pad, 295 River Ave
- Freight House Spray Pad, 200 Isabel St.
- Gateway Spray Pad, 1717 Gateway Rd.
- Jill Officer Park Spray Pad, 1400 Rothesay St.
- Lindenwoods Spray Pad, 414 Lindenwoods Drive W.
- Lindsey Wilson Park Spray Pad, 379 Island Shore Blvd.
- Machray Park Spray Pad, 475 Anderson Ave.
- Provencher Park Spray Pad, 620 rue Langevin
- Park City West Spray Pad, 115 Sanford Fleming Rd.
- River Heights Spray Pad, 1370 Grosvenor Ave.
- St. Norbert Spray Pad, 3450 Pembina Hwy.
- Sturgeon Heights Spray Pad, 210 Rita St.
- Valley Gardens Spray Pad, 218 Antrim Road
- Vimy Ridge Memorial Park Spray Pad, 821 Preston Ave.
- Waverley Heights Spray Pad, 1885 Chancellor Dr.
- Westdale Spray Pad, 550 Dale Blvd.
- West Kildonan Spray Pad, 346 Perth Ave.
The City will not be opening spray pads at Old Ex and St. James Assiniboia Centennial, as well as Shaughnessy, at this time.
The City is asking residents exhibiting Covid-19 symptoms to avoid using the spray pad.
The on-site washrooms will also remain closed.
Users must maintain social distancing at these sites except groups or families that live together.
