The Edmonton Folk Music Festival has announced the initial list of 5 artists performing at the event. Festival-goers can enjoy The War on Drugs, Allison Russell, Buffy Sainte-Marie, Lord Huron, Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats during the 2022 edition.
Set in the lush river valley with the Edmonton skyline as its backdrop, the festival is an annual gathering that has come to epitomize Edmonton as a “festival city.”
Producer of the Edmonton Folk Music Festival Terry Wickham announcing the festival said, “I believe this will be one of the most exciting lineups in the history of the Edmonton Folk Music Festival”
The complete lineup will be announced Wednesday, May 25, with tickets on sale Saturday, June 4.
