Product of the Year Canada has announced the winners of the product innovation awards across 35 distinct consumer categories — from personal care, household essentials to the latest food and beverage options and beyond.

According to the news release, the 2022 Product of the Year Awards is awarded for outstanding innovation. The products are selected through a national survey of 4,000 Canadian shoppers conducted by Kantar, a global leader in consumer research.
Product of the Year, which was established over 31 years ago in France and operates in over 40 countries, is the world’s largest consumer-voted award for product innovation, says the news release.
Entries are accepted from consumer products that demonstrate innovation in design, function, packaging or ingredients, and were launched within the previous year. A jury compromised of industry experts select the finalists that meet the Product of the Year standards of value and innovation. Those selected finalists are then categorized and judged through an online survey of Canadian consumers.
Product of the Year Canada says the intent of the awards is to guide consumers to the best products in their market and reward manufacturers for quality and innovation.
