Celebrated as one of Canada’s top festivals, the 15th annual Halifax Seaport Cider & Beerfest and the 2nd annual FIZZFEST kicks off today.

Taking place from August 10 to August 12, these two simultaneous events will showcase a wide variety of craft beers, ciders, cocktails, sodas, and seltzers.

As Atlantic Canada’s largest craft beer and cider festival, the Halifax Seaport Cider & Beerfest will feature an extensive selection of local, regional, and international brews. Meanwhile, FIZZFEST will cater to those seeking ready-to-drink cocktails, sodas, and seltzers. Unlike last year, no drink sample tickets are required, allowing attendees to freely sample and enjoy the offerings.

Tickets are on sale at SeaportBeerfest.com, ranging from $35 to $65, with VIP tickets allowing early access, sample souvenir glass, and exclusive interaction with brewers and special guests.

The regular ticket sessions will take place on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings, as well as Saturday afternoon. The festival is exclusively for individuals aged 19 and over.

In addition to the wide range of beverages, attendees can indulge in delicious food from vendors such as Asado Wood Fired Grill, Smokinstein Food Truck, and Dominic’s Cucina. DJ Loukas Stilldrnk, a local Halifax artist, will provide music entertainment throughout the weekend.

The Halifax Seaport Cider & Beerfest and FIZZFEST are proud supporters of Adsum for Women and Children. A portion of the event’s net proceeds will go towards supporting this worthy cause. With a history of raising over $53,000 for charities, these festivals offer a fantastic opportunity to have fun while giving back to the community.
