Halifax Jazz Festival
TD Halifax Jazz Festival has announced the Main Stage artists for the 38th annual festival, which runs from July 11 to 16.
Shaggy will take the stage on Wednesday, July 12, followed by BADBADNOTGOOD featuring special guest Sudan Archives on Friday, July 14, and Digable Planets on Saturday, July 15.
Thursday, July 13, will showcase The Last Waltz Halifax, a free tribute concert celebrating the iconic performance by The Band.
Jenn Grant will open for previously announced headliner Feist on Tuesday, July 11, while Fleet Foxes and special guests Fortunate Ones will conclude the festival on Sunday, July 16.
The TD Main Stage will be located at the Salter Lot (1521 Lower Water Street), with all evening shows at the festival’s waterfront venue being 19+ (ID required).
Two types of passes are available for purchase: the Fusion Pass, priced at $322.04, guarantees front-of-the-line access to all events. The Standard Pass, at $215.56, grants entry to all festival shows, subject to capacity.

The TD Halifax Jazz Festival, initially known as the Atlantic Jazz Festival, holds the title of the oldest jazz festival and the largest summer event in Atlantic Canada. Recognized as a Hallmark Event by the Halifax Regional Municipality, the festival draws up to 65,000 visitors, engages 400 volunteers, and employs more than 350 local musicians.
