If you plan to go camping in one of Canada’s most popular national parks, better join the Parks Canada reservation queue right now.

Reservations for Cyprus Lake campgrounds, backcountry camping in the Bruce Peninsula National Park, and Flowerpot Island campground on Fathom Five National Marine Park, Georgian Bay Islands National Park, Point Pelee National Park, Pukaskwa National Park, and Thousand Islands are all open.
If you are planning a road trip or boat trip on Rideau Canal National Historic Site and Trent-Severn Waterway National Historic Site and planning to camp on Parks Canada accommodations, remember to book campgrounds for the date of your choosing.
Parks Canada runs Day Tripper, a boat taxi service to Georgian Bay Islands National Park, the boat-only accessible National Park. Remember to book today if you plan to visit the park, especially on long weekends. Private taxi services are available but will cost ~$250 for a round trip per boat.
Reservations for parking at Grotto and Halfway Dump in the Bruce Peninsula National Park are also open. The Grotto is the most visited area in the National Park. When Grotto parking is fully booked, there is no more Grotto access for that day. Grotto parking is available for reservation between May 1 to October 31, 2025, and Halfway Dump parking is available between June 16 to September 1, 2025.
Campground reservations for National Parks in Western Canada are already open.
