Kicking off the festivities, the renowned coffee chain is reintroducing four classic donuts – the Dutchie, Blueberry Fritter, Cinnamon Sugar Twist, and Walnut Crunch – available from today for a limited period.
Tim Hortons outlets nationwide will use new packaging featuring a special 60th-anniversary logo to mark this milestone. This includes cups, donut boxes, Timbit boxes, and other items.
The first Tim Hortons opened on May 17, 1964, with its first establishment in Hamilton, Ontario. Today, the brand boasts nearly 4,000 locations in Canada and over 5,700 globally, with a presence in 18 countries. One of the latest expansions includes a new outlet in South Korea, which opened last year.
2024 also marks the 50th anniversary of the Tim Hortons Foundation Camps. Since 1974, these camps have empowered over 315,000 young individuals from low-income families. The camps, located across Canada and the United States, provide impactful, experiential learning opportunities for youth aged 12 to 16.
