7-Eleven is marking its annual 7-Eleven Day by offering free small Slurpee drinks to customers across Canada on July 11.

The Slurpee, known for being served at precisely -2.2°C, remains a summer favourite. The giveaway marks a longstanding summer tradition, with the frozen drink being a Canadian staple since the first Slurpee was poured in Calgary in 1969.
The event is one of the country’s largest product giveaways, with over 800,000 free Slurpees expected to be distributed.
In addition to the free Slurpees, 7Rewards members can purchase wings for just 71 cents.
Members will also receive an additional 711 bonus points when they scan for their free Slurpee.
In addition to giveaways and food deals, 7-Eleven Canada is hosting a national contest to find “Canada’s Biggest Slurpee Fan.”
Participants are invited to post creative videos or photos on TikTok, Instagram, or Facebook using the hashtags #Slurpee7ElevenDay and #CanadasBiggestSlurpeeFan, and tagging @7ElevenCanada and @SlurpeeCanada. One winner will receive the Slurpee Time Capsule Grand Prize, while ten others will be awarded themed merchandise.
Free small Slurpees are available until 11 p.m. Friday, July 11, 2025.
