Lake Mildred & Lac Beauvert (Beautiful green Lake) are part of the Kettle Lakes of Jasper National Park. Along with Annette & Edith Lakes, these Lakes are the residuals of the lake that covered the entire Athabasca valley during the end of ice age. Jasper Park Lodge is situated on the North shores of Lac Beauvert, and the Golf course on the east shore.

Things to do at Mildred Lake & Lac Beauvert

The 4.2 kilometer trail here is also suitable for jogging.

Enjoy the blue-green lakes and take a stroll along the many trails that surround it. Enjoy the scenery and see Mount Edith Cavell from various view points.

Canoe or Kayak in the Lac Beauvert. An alternate access point is across the lake at the end of Old Fort Point Road.

Enjoy fishing. National park license required. Bait banned.

Mildred Lake & Lac Beauvert in Winter

Lake Mildred offers the biggest skating oval in Jasper with rectangular rinks as well for hockey. Snowshoe along the trails. Lac Beauvert is also lit for night skating.

Hiking

 
There are several trails around the lakes to help one take a leisurely stroll and enjoy the scenery.

If you continue down from down the paved road from Old Fort Point you will reach Lac Beauvert’s hiking trail. Or you can go another kilometer to reach the parking area at the south end of Lac Beauvert. The hiking trail/loop around Lac Beauvert is approximately 4km.
