Events Description
For over 40 years, Aggie Days has brought the farm to the heart of Calgary, connecting thousands of students and families to the people, animals, and stories behind our food. From live demonstrations and interactive displays to exciting animal competitions and family-friendly fun, Aggie Days is a one-of-a-kind opportunity to experience Alberta agriculture up close.
School Days (April 15–17): Tailored for Grades 3–6, students will explore interactive exhibits, enjoy popular demonstrations like cow milking and sheep shearing, and discover meaningful curriculum connections to Alberta’s agriculture story. Registration is required. Teachers, visit the Teacher Portal to learn more and register your class.
Family Days (April 18–19): Open 10am-4pm with admission free for all! Explore animal exhibits, discover agriculture in fun and interactive ways, and cheer on competitors in Clock, Stock & Barrel and the Extreme Cowboy Race.
From classroom connections to family fun, Aggie Days is where agriculture comes alive in the city.
