Alberta has announced modest changes to social gathering restrictions for the holiday season.
The province has retained the maximum number of people who can gather indoor at 10 but has removed the vaccination requirement and the two-household cohort restriction.
Additionally, there are no limits to those under 18 as they are not included in the maximum number of gathering limit of 10. Outdoor social gathering capacity remains at 20 people.
The province is also providing free rapid tests to Albertans starting December 17th.
All Albertans aged 50 and older and all healthcare workers who had their second dose six months ago or longer can book a third dose of an mRNA COVID-19 vaccine to increase their protection against the virus starting today.
