An Edmonton Park Washroom Wins Canada’s Best Restroom 2021 Contest

Cintas Canada has named Borden Park Pavilion washroom as Canada’s Best Restroom.

The contest showcases businesses that have invested in maintaining exceptional washrooms that are accessible to the public.

Borden Park restroom won the most votes when Cintas Canada opened the 12th year of the contest for public voting on June 7 through July 9.

 

The other finalists which were judged on five criteria that include cleanliness, visual appeal, innovation, functionality and unique design elements are:

  • Surrey Park – Surrey, British Columbia
  • Sweet Market Esso Station – Red Deer, Alberta
  • The ROOFTOP – Calgary, Alberta
  • Toronto Zoo – Toronto, Ontario

Designed by gh3, the Borden Park washrooms are at the core of the single-level pavilion surrounded by highly reflective glass. Borden Park Pavilion has also won 2018 Governor General’s Medals in Architecture.

Borden Park will receive $2,500 in Cintas products and services to help maintain their award-winning washrooms.
