April 30: All 18+ Who Live or Work in Scarborough Can Now Book Appointments for COVID-19 Vaccine

 

Scarborough Health has announced that they are opening vaccine bookings today. This is part of Ontario’s plan to open up mass vaccination clinic vaccine bookings to residents in hot spot areas as the province is anticipating a stable and reliable increase in vaccine supply beginning next week.

Starting April 30, all 18+ those who live or work in Scarborough can book appointments for the COVID-19 vaccine, either online or by phone. Appointments are available starting May 3rd. Those who live in Scarborough hot spots can also book appointments via the provincial booking system starting May 3rd for mass immunization clinics.

The vaccine appointment will be open for all clinics run by Scarborough Health Network.

1. How to Book Appointment for COVID-19 Vaccine Through Scarborough Health:

Book Online

When: Appointments are available starting May 3rd.

  • Centennial College – Progress Campus — Athletic and Wellness Centre, 941 Progress Avenue | 10 a.m. – 6 p.m., seven days a week
  • SHN – Centenary hospital –Margaret Birch Wing, 2867 Ellesmere Road | 8:30 a.m. – 7 p.m., seven days a week
  • Carefirst Seniors & Community Services Association — 300 Silver Star Boulevard | Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
  • The Mid-Scarborough Hub – Scarborough Centre for Healthy Communities – 2660 Eglinton Avenue East | 9 a.m. – 7 p.m., seven days a week
  • TAIBU Community Health Centre, Centre 27 Tapscott Road | Monday – Thursday, 9 a.m. ­– 8 p.m.; Friday & Saturday, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.

On the day of your appointment:

  1. Must provide proof of residency or workplace in Scarborough
  2. Must provide a form of ID (such as a health card or government-issued ID, if you have one)

3. How to Book Appointment for COVID-19 Vaccine Through City’s Mass Vaccination Clinics:

Starting May 3rd at 8:00 a.m., the province will allow those 18 and older in hot spot communities to book appointments for shots at a mass immunization clinic through the provincial online booking system or directly through public health units that use their own booking system. This is only residents of hot spots regions of Toronto.

How to Book:

City-run clinics

Operates seven days per week from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.

  1. Metro Toronto Convention Centre, 255 Front St. W.
  2. Scarborough Town Centre, 300 Borough Dr.
  3. Toronto Congress Centre, 650 Dixon Rd.
  4. Malvern Community Recreation Centre, 30 Sewells Rd.
  5. Mitchell Field Community Centre, 89 Church Ave.
  6. The Hangar, 75 Carl Hall Rd.
  7. Cloverdale Mall, 250 The East Mall
  8. North Toronto Memorial Community Centre, 200 Eglinton Ave. W.
  9. Carmine Stefano Community Centre, 3100 Weston Rd.

FYI: If you did not apply for the $400 Ontario Child Care Benefit payments, you can now do so. Applications are open from May 3rd to 17th.

      This site never worked. Waste of time even putting up this article!! Poor people in Scarborough. No politicians care!! York has better booking system than us. Our only hope is to book thru Ontario provincial system.
