Established in 1980, this 165-acre local community farm is a must-visit farm fun destination for anyone who loves picking their own fruits and vegetables.
Things to Do:
Nestled on the Niagara Escarpment, Andrews Farm and Winery also known as Andres Scenic Acres, offers something for everyone until frost covers the ground.
You can pick asparagus and rhubarb in May, and don’t forget to fill up your basket with delicious produce such as strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, pumpkins, squash, and much more in summer and fall.
The whole family can take a walk through the farm’s walking trails or opt for a wagon ride for a more relaxed experience.
Little ones can enjoy the animal corral with turkeys, chickens, ducks, pygmy goats, alpacas, and KuneKune pigs. There is also a straw mountain climb.
You can also pick your own flowers, including dahlias and sunflowers.
Don’t miss out on the dahlia & sunflower fields that bloom in August & September or get lost in the corn maze, while everyone can capture great photo opportunities year-round.
Complete your day with a stop at the BBQ for lunch or ice cream on the weekends, or purchase produce from the farm store to bring home. Just remember, outside food is not permitted on farm grounds.
Andrews Scenic Acres boasts the only winery in Halton Region, offering 25 award-winning fruit wines.
