Per the news release, the concept of BASIN pays homage to Lake Louise’s natural basin and its glacial water source, blending elements of alpine surroundings with modern wellness principles.

This indoor-outdoor facility combines state-of-the-art design with natural elements to create a sensory journey aimed at reflection, renewal, and vitality. Visitors will experience a self-guided hydrotherapy circuit, featuring options such as Finnish and Bio Saunas, an Aufguss Sauna rooted in European traditions, and various pools with features like reflexology paths, waterfalls, and cold-immersion options.

A unique feature is the infinity pool extending from the indoor space to the outdoor terrace, offering uninterrupted views of the lake and surrounding mountains.

Tracy Lowe, General Manager of Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise, described BASIN as a reimagining of alpine wellness, stating, “It elevates the resort experience entirely, becoming a destination in its own right.”
