Paramount Fine Foods is opening Canada’s first fully automated restaurant, Box’d in Toronto.

Creators of Box’d teamed up with Chef Tomer Markovitz to build an innovative Middle Eastern cuisine. The menu consists of recipes that feature delicious lunch and dinner selections, including vegan and vegetarian options. Each has sustainable packaging and express menu options that are accessible easily through digital menu.

HOW IT WORKS

  • Guests place their order in advance via a mobile app or they can order at a digital kiosk in-store.
  • Digital status boards within the restaurant update guests when their food is ready and lead them to their pickup location.
  • Digital cubbies and shelves identify orders and create a streamlined experience.

Box’d MENU

Menu items will feature Paramount Fine Foods hummus and traditional Middle Eastern flavours and spices in new recipes created by Chef Tomer.

From salads to Box’d hot dishes, oven-baked wraps and smoothies, Box’d plans to provide a multitude of fast, healthy options for everyone. Box’d Hot include a combination of couscous, rice and lentils with salad and hummus. One can also add chicken, kafta, steak or portobello mushroom to Box’d Hot.
