Brampton is kicking off Christmas and the holiday season with its annual Winter Lights Festival this weekend.

The celebrations will kick off on Friday, November 15, with the Christmas Tree Lighting and Miracle on Main Street event in Gage Park taking place from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Highlights stage performances by groups like the Chinguacousy Swing Orchestra, Jade’s Hip Hop Academy, and DJ Goodvibes, with the Brampton Children’s Chorus performing at 6:30, 7:30, and 8:15 pm.
Families can enjoy amusement rides, a petting zoo, photos with Santa, airbrush tattoos, and holiday movies. Food vendors and fireside warm-up zones will be available, making it a festive evening for all ages.
Official Tree Lighting Ceremony at Ken Whillans Square will light up Brampton’s 60-foot spruce tree decorated with over 10,000 lights at 6:45 p.m.

Remember to take a new unwrapped toy to support local Brampton organizations and families experiencing poverty.
The Brampton Winter Artist Market is back on November 16th from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Brampton Library’s Springdale Branch. Featuring local vendors, this event is perfect for holiday shopping with a wide range of unique gifts available.
The big guy in the red suit will arrive at 5 p.m. The Parade will start at the intersection of Bramalea Road and Central Park Drive. It will then head north on Bramalea Road towards North Park Drive. It will then head east on North Park Drive, concluding at the intersection of North Park Drive and Jordan Blvd. The parade will take around 60 minutes to pass by.
