It’s time to get into the holiday spirit and there’s no better place to do that than in downtown Brampton. Experience the wonder of the annual Winter Lights Festival.

Let the countdown to the holidays begin! Watch as the 60-foot spruce tree in Ken Whillans Square comes to life with over 10,000 lights Wander through Gage Park for the ultimate holiday light experience. Enjoy magical light displays and over 145,000 sparkling LED lights, transforming the park into a winter wonderland.

Be sure to bring a new unwrapped toy in support of local Brampton organizations and families experiencing poverty.

The event will feature winter lights displays, amusement rides, food vendors, and fun giveaways and activations for the whole family.

In attendance will be wrestling’s living legend Tiger Jeet Singh, former WWE Superstar Tiger Ali Singh!

Official Tree Lighting Ceremony

6:45 PM @ Ken Whillans Square

Experience the magic of the holiday season Friday night with the official tree lighting ceremony, presented by Alectra. In Ken Whillans Square, residents are invited to experience the 60ft spruce tree come to life with more than 10,000 lights.

​The following road will be closed from 9:00 am on November 17 to 12:00 pm on November 18:

Wellington Street, from Main Street to George Street

The following roads will be closed from 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm on November 17:

Main Street South, from Queen Street to Clarence Street
Wellington Street, from Main Street to Chapel Street

Parking:

​There are 5 municipal parking garages in downtown Brampton that have free parking for the Winter Lights Festival. Parking is free after 7pm on Friday and all day Saturday. Click here to view the parking garage map for downtown Brampton.
