Rock and roll legend Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band will be making their way to Canadian stages this November.
The band announced additional North American dates on their 2023 international tour in 18 cities. The tour will kick off at Chicago’s Wrigley Field on August 9 and will conclude on December 8 at San Francisco’s Chase Center.
The Canadian tour will begin in Vancouver on November 3 and will make a stop in Winnipeg for the first time ever, performing at the Canada Life Centre on November 10.
Additionally, Springsteen will visit Edmonton’s Rogers Place, Calgary’s Scotiabank Saddledome, Ottawa’s Centre, Montreal’s Bell Centre, and Toronto’s Scotiabank Arena.
The 2023 tour marks Bruce Springsteen’s first tour since the end of a 14-month trek to commemorate the 35th anniversary of their album, “The River”, in 2017. The E Street Band has been on hiatus for a few years.
The tour began in Tampa, Florida on Feb. 1, Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band’s first North American show in seven years.
According to the news release, the opening night featured a high-energy 28-song set which included rocking fan favourites like Born To Run, Prove It All Night and Wrecking Ball, with The E Street Band effortlessly shifting to soul and R&B while complemented by a horn section and backing vocalists.
