The Calgary Flames have unveiled a new jersey that pays tribute to the Scotiabank Saddledome, the arena they have called home since 1983.

The 2026-27 Hometown Remix jersey, unveiled November 2, features a red and gold design inspired by the Saddledome’s distinctive architecture.
The new uniform arrives during the Flames’ final season at the Saddledome before their planned move to Scotia Place for the 2027-28 NHL season.
Calgary is among 32 NHL teams participating in the Hometown Remix collection, developed in collaboration with Fanatics to celebrate each team’s local identity.
New Calgary Flames Jersey Design:
The jersey incorporates several features inspired by the Saddledome, including an “88 Gold” crest with a texture reflecting the arena’s distinctive ceiling.
The sleeves feature embossed patterns based on the building’s windows, while the hem striping references its curved roofline.
Custom block numbers include a shutter-like texture, and the hem features details connecting the Saddledome’s opening with the team’s move to its new arena.
The design gives fans a way to remember the building through the uniform itself.
The Flames will debut the jersey on Friday, November 6, 2026, against the Anaheim Ducks at the Scotiabank Saddledome.
