Glow-in-the-dark kayaks are the new-“ish” trend taking over Canada’s waters.
Calgary Kayaks
Initially launched in Alberta by Edmonton Kayaks, glow-in-the-dark kayaks are basically transparent kayaks made of polycarbonate resin equipped with LED lights. The kayaks have good impact resistance and have an anodized aluminum internal frame system.
This year, Calgary Kayaks is launching kayak rentals from the Heritage Park boat launch starting May 1st and you can explore Glenmore Reservoir on an illuminated and transparent kayak.
So call a friend, and plan an evening of exploration so that you can take your nighttime adventure to a whole new level.
Calgary Kayaks rents both transparent single kayaks and double kayaks by the hour when the boat launch is open. The city of Calgary’s Glenmore Boat Patrol patrols Glenmore Reservoir from May 1 to October 31st. The boat patrol may close the launch site to ensure the highest level of safety depending on the weather, and water levels.
If you do not kayak and still want to enjoy a trip on Glenmore Reservoir, then visit Heritage Park and take a ride on the heritage boat – S.S. Moyie Paddlewheeler starting Victoria Day weekend.

I can't find anywhere on your website to ask a question. No phone number either. When I book a kayak, how do I know it glows in the dark? or do all your kayaks glow? Your closing time is 7:30 pm at night. In summer, it is not dark yet, how am I going to see the glow?
