There is plenty of fun festivals this weekend in Calgary, including GlobalFest International Fireworks Festival and the Country Thunder Music Festival.
If you want to enjoy a bit of multicultural fun, head to Calgary’s Chinatown for the annual Street Festival.

No festival is complete without mouthwatering delicacies. Feast on a diverse array of dishes offered by the on-site Food Trucks.
The festival will kick off with a special parade, starting at 12 noon, encapsulating the festival’s spirit. For families attending, a delightful experience awaits the kids – a 40-minute Balloon Twisting Class, turning simple balloons into awe-inspiring art. Additionally, the Alberta Good Voice Singing Contest promises to be an auditory treat.
The free admission festival is on August 19th and runs from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at 3 Ave & 1st St SE, Calgary.
