Beginning September 27 and running through December 13, 2025, the heritage site at 144 6 Ave SE will host nine free weekend events supported by the City of Calgary.
The program blends live music, storytelling, interactive workshops, and markets, aiming to create a welcoming space for families, newcomers, and long-time residents. The opening celebration coincides with Calgary Culture Days, the citywide arts and culture festival taking place throughout September.
The events also mark an early step in cSPACE Projects’ plan to reimagine the Firehall and neighbouring North West Travellers Building as a permanent arts hub. The initiative is designed to show how unused spaces can be repurposed for cultural connection and creativity.
