The City of Calgary’s Youth Employment Centre is bringing back its annual Youth Hiring Fair on March 26 at the Big Four Building in Stampede Park.

The event, now in its 26th year, is open to job seekers aged 15 to 24, from high school students to recent graduates.
This year’s fair will feature 80 employers, all actively hiring for thousands of roles. The opportunities range from part-time and seasonal work to full-time and permanent positions, giving attendees a broad look at what’s available.
Per the news release, the fair provides a platform for high school students, recent graduates, and post-secondary students to explore job opportunities with 80 employers actively hiring. Positions range from part-time to full-time roles across various industries.
Since its inception, the event has linked nearly 2,000 employers with more than 100,000 youth. Per the news release, each year about 5,000 young people attend not just to apply for jobs but to get a feel for the hiring process.
The fair will feature a diverse array of employers across various age groups, ensuring opportunities are accessible for a wide demographic, from companies like Azuridge Estate Hotel and Calgary Co-op to organizations like the Calgary Police Service and Alberta Health Services, among many others.
For those unable to attend the fair, the Youth Employment Centre offers year-round employment services at 315 10th Ave. S.E., providing free career services and connections to employers for individuals aged 15-24.
