Air Canada has revealed the 30 nominees for Canada’s Best New Restaurants 2023, marking the 22nd year of this prestigious culinary awards program.

CNW Group/Air Canada
The list of nominees spans 15 cities across seven provinces. From marina-side dining in B.C.’s Sunshine Coast to upscale casual cuisine in St. John’s Harbour, these nominees offer a diverse range of experiences for food enthusiasts.
Per the news release, the restaurants are selected through a unique evaluation process. An anonymous reviewer travels the country, visiting the top 30 new restaurants based on recommendations from a panel of food experts. These establishments, opened between late spring 2022 and May 31, 2023, are judged on the quality of their food, service, and culinary creativity.
